East Albemarle is a Title 1 School
The main focus of this program is to provide students with high-quality instruction, rigorous work opportunities, and additional layers of support to help them become strong readers. Title 1 funding helps us provide our students with instructional materials, curriculum resources, technology, and qualified staff to help them work to their full potential and reach their achievement goals.
Family Engagement Opportunities
Events will be held to share information with you about East Albemarle's Title 1 program, as well as to provide you with insight into your child's day at school, progress and academic goals. As a parent / family, you are a vital part of our team in working with your child toward academic and personal success.
Title 1 Events at East Albemarle Elementary
- August 7, 2023 - Open House for all Families (K-5); families may attend 8:30 - 10:30 am OR 4:30 - 6:30 pm
- September 14, 2023 - K-5 Back-to-School Night, 5:30 - 7:00 pm
- November 6, 2023 - K-5 2nd Quarter Family Night at Sk8 City, 5:30 - 7:00 pm
- February 15, 2024 - K-5 Student-Led Conferences, 5:30 - 7:00 pm
- March 21, 2024 - K-5 Duke Energy Science Night, 5:00 - 6:30 pm

Compacts are sent home with each student at the start of the school year. This document outlines the important role each of us play in the success of students at East Albemarle Elementary.
